I spent years studying build orders, memorizing timing windows, and executing strategies that won games before they really started.
That mindset — asymmetric thinking, quiet positioning, relentless iteration — shaped everything that came after. Poker. Trading. Business. And eventually, JADE.
The real business education came from 16 years at Justice Ophthalmics — my family's ophthalmic supply company serving eye care professionals since 1992. I started full-time right out of high school in 2009, working days while earning a double associate's degree in Business and Marketing at night. Worked my way up to CEO.
Running a real business with real customers, real inventory, and real problems taught me what small business owners actually need: tools that work, save time, and don't break the bank. That's why JADE exists — because I know firsthand how much entrepreneurs value reliability over flash.
For 6 years I played poker professionally — building the discipline of thinking in probabilities, managing risk, and staying patient when the outcome is uncertain.
